Mira Rai

President

Mira was born in Dumma, a remote village in Bhojpur district in Eastern Nepal. Because her family had difficulty making ends meet, she joined the Maoist movement. After the civil war ended, she was still a minor and hence was ineligible for integration into the Nepal army. She then moved to Kathmandu and began trail running after she won several domestic and international races.

She is the Nat-Geo Adventurer of the Year 2017 and also has been awarded the Asian Game Changer Award 2018. She has also been conferred an honorary doctorate degree in Business Administration from Westcliff University.

Sujan Kayastha

Sujan has a graduate degree in International Non-Governmental Organizations from Regents College, London. He is currently the Director at Thames International College where he manages the academic team and provides leadership for all academic activities in the undergraduate program.

Dipesh Ghaley

General Secretary

Dipesh completed his Masters in Business Administration from Tribhuvan University. He is also the Executive President at Himalayan Outdoor Festival (HOF) since 2011. Dipesh runs a marketing research and PR firm in Kathmandu. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he is also delves in tourism.

Prateekshya Gurung

Prateekshya works the Food and Beverages industry. She completed her Master’s in Hotel Management from University of Southern Queensland, Australia. She is currently the executive director at Oasis Garden Homes in Kathmandu.

Roshana Dolma Lama

Roshana is a lawyer by profession but also holds a graduate in Gender Studies.  She currently works as legal advisor for several companies in Nepal.

Pranaya Ratna Shakya

Pranaya is an animation expert with years of experience in graphic designs. He works as the Creative Director at Escape Animation.

Alok Yonjan

Alok is the Managing Director of Dalle Restaurant which has more than 10 outlets in Nepal. He has decades of experience in the Food and Beverage industry in Nepal.

Jwalant Gurung

Mr. Gurung has a graduate degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. He is the Managing Director of Crystal Mountain Treks.  Trekking and mountain biking are his passion.

Rupesh Gautam

Executive Member

Rupesh is the chairman of World Wide Money Exchange. He is involved in various other entrepreneurial ventures in Kathmandu.  An active person, he loves playing basketball and football.
